Why should you live and work on St. Martin?
This island has been populated since 4000 before Christ. Although Columbus had discovered the island in 1493, the Spaniards never populated the island. The Netherlands and France populated St. Martin in 1631. St. Martin is the smallest island in the world with 2 nationalities. On Wednesday 6 September 2017 Sint Maarten was hit by Irma, a hurricane of the heaviest category. The havoc was enormous and a lot needs to be recovered. Currently, the population of St. Martin is busy with the restoration of all facilities. But this will cost a lot of time and money.

St. Martin’s economy is mainly based on tourism, they stay on the island or tourist who come from the cruise ships. You can also go there by plane ofcourse, you will land at Princess Juliana International Airport. The healthcare in St. Martin is very extensive, they provide many operations and treatments.
